Matt DiLoreto is an American Meteorologist working for NBC5 as NBC5’s First Warning Meteorologist. His dad helped fan the flames of his interest in weather as well by showing me how to check radar, and local weather forecasts, and explaining basics such as the reason for the change in seasons.

DiLoreto is NBC5 first meteorologist. He was raised in Connecticut, just outside of Hartford. After he graduated from high school, he decided to transition to Oklahoma and experience the amazing weather program they had out there at the University of Oklahoma.
After spending two years at OU, he decided it would be best for him to be closer to his roots. DiLoreto then moved back to Connecticut and completed his last two years at Western Connecticut State University, which also has a great meteorology program.
