Previously before joining WKRN he worked at the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach, Florida where he served as a morning anchor for six years. While working in Florida, he gained an Emmy for a special that took a deep dive into the opioid crisis. Mark also anchored several large hurricanes.
Before moving to Florida, Mark worked at KPIX-TV, the CBS affiliate in San Francisco where he served as the weekend anchor. While in the station he attained an Edward R. Murrow award in the hard news reporting category. Kelly’s first television job news was at WSET-TV in Lynchburg, Virginia where he worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor.
