She previously worked at Orlando where she served as a reporter for Central Florida News 13 for six years, half the time spent in the Brevard County Bureau. She had the opportunity to cover high-profile cases including the end of the space shuttle program, the George Zimmerman Trial, and the Casey Anthony Trial. Furthermore, Margaret flew to Haiti n 2014 to report and produce a half-hour segment on changes to the country since the massive earthquake five years ago.
Prior to News 13, Margaret worked at KNDU-TV in the Tri-Cities, WA as an evening anchor and reporter for three years. Margaret worked as the news director for WBCB in Levittown, PA, before her time in the Tri-Cities. She developed her love for the Philadelphia Eagles, as the general manager is the Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles, Merrill Reese at the AM radio station sits in the heart of Bucks County. Margaret knew she wanted to work in the news while interning for NBC News in New York City. Working closely with the breaking news, elections, and achieving departments gave her a true understanding of what she wanted to do.
During her free time, she loves running, Cooking, craft beer, hot yoga, the beach, new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her sister and Bullmastiff named George. She enjoys being out in the community, speaking to people about their lives. Margaret is passionate about sharing stories, exposing wrongdoing, and helping the underdog. She has fallen in love with Hampton Roads and wants to help make this a better place to live.
