While in that role she traveled extensively, covering some of the biggest stories in the world including the Paris terror attacks, the eruption of the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii, the deaths of Fidel Castro and Nelson Mandela, and the 2013 Papal conclave at the Vatican.
Marci also worked for “World News Now” and “America This Morning” as a fill-in anchor. Before working there, she worked at WABC in New York City, as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She also worked a memorable 4.5 years at WPTV in West Palm Beach, Fla serving as an anchor and reporter. Gonzalez began her career as a “one-man-band” reporter and weekend anchor in New York at News 12 The Bronx.
