Robinson became a member of the Action Sports Jax team in June of 2017, taking on the role of a sports reporter and photographer. He has deep roots in the Jacksonville area, having been born and raised there. After graduating from the University of North Florida, Marcel initially worked as a commercial video editor at another local television station for nearly five years. During this time, he honed his skills and even created his television show, where he competed against local athletes of various skill levels, although he often found himself on the losing side.
In addition to his television work, Marcel is a self-taught still photographer. Before joining the Action Sports Jax team, he had already captured many live sporting events, including Jacksonville Jaguars home games. He frequently travels both near and far to capture the perfect images for his photography portfolio.
Marcel’s heart has a special place for Georgia, as he spent a significant part of his youth in Folkston. He occasionally returns to this small town to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. In his spare time, Marcel is not just behind the camera; you’ll often find him in the sports arena as a participant. He’s proud of his multiple flag football championships and doesn’t shy away from bragging about his athletic achievements.
