In 1998, she started serving as a co-host of “Deco Drive,” the 30-minute news magazine program famed for celebrity news and the latest on the South Florida entertainment circle. Further, she serves as an Emmy-awarded journalist.
Nonetheless, she debuted her broadcasting career in 1989 when she served 9 at the CBS affiliate in Cadillac, Michigan as an anchor and producer. During her stint with WSVN, she provided coverage for the inauguration of President Bill Clinton, was one of the key U.S. reporters to broadcast the atrocities in Bosnia, traveled to Holland after the killing of a German tourist in Miami, and went to Rome to broadcast the Pope.
Also, she was featured on the Fox show, “America’s Most Wanted” on a story about how to pull through a carjacking. In addition to that, she has broadcasted many hurricanes counting Andrew in 1992 and Wilma in 2005. To boot, she interviewed President Barack Obama in 2011. For “Deco Drive,” she interviewed many celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Cameron Diaz, Andy Garcia, and Keanu Reeves.
Furthermore, she attained an award for a series on organ donation dubbed “Dying for an Organ.” Else she was nominated for an Emmy for her broadcast of Hurricane Andrew.
