Lorena Estrada is an American journalist of Greek and Nicaraguan descent who is working for WSVN as a weekend morning anchor and general assignment reporter. She joined the 7 News team in January 2014. Additionally, she has served the station for more than half a decade.

Estrada serves WSVN as a weekend morning anchor and general assignment reporter. She joined the 7 News team in January 2014. Additionally, she has served the station for more than half a decade. Nonetheless, she began her career when she served in Knoxville at WVLT (CBS) as a weekend anchor and reporter.
During her time at WVLT, she provided coverage for a broad range of stories. For instance, the 2011 tornadoes that ruined the community, the 2012 Presidential Campaign, and illegal immigrants fighting deportation. Also, she became involved with East Tennessee’s Centro Hispano, a local non-profit organization serving the Hispanic community.
On a side note, she speaks both Spanish and Greek. However, her passion for news and travel began when she was young and traveling the world with her family. When she is not working or sleeping, she enjoys spending time with her husband, relatives, and dog. To boot, she loves serving as an Mc of events for local charities and organizations she’s involved with counting Joshua’s Heart Foundation and Florida Hemophilia Association.
