She joined the station in August 2013. She previously worked for WSOC-TV Eyewitness News in Charlotte, North Carolina Area as a General Assignment and Investigative Reporter.

She enjoys stories about how systems are or aren’t working for people, innovation, and where peoples tax dollars are going. While working for KIRO 7, her investigations uncovered failures of the city of Seattle to fulfill promises in a $365 million levy, a policy failure that allowed Seattle firefighters to continue driving for the fire department for months, sometimes even years, after being arrested multiple times for DUIs in their time off, and problems with King County’s senior property tax exemption program.
Linzi also anchored breaking news coverage of the riots in downtown Seattle in 2020, the plane stolen from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 2018, and the deadly crane collapse in 2019. Before moving in Seattle, she worked in Charlotte, N.C. for WSOC-TV as a reporter. While there she provided in-depth coverage of the controversial fight for control of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Sheldon also covered the John Edwards federal criminal trial and the Democratic National Convention. Before heading to WSOC-TV, she worked in Rochester, N.Y. for WHEC-TV as a reporter. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, searching for the perfect meal, playing with her two dogs, spending time with her friends and family, running, and playing tennis.
