His class work and the News director took up most of his time, Kurt didn’t think it was enough so he took on duties at Community radio station WREG as well as Cable DeKalb and the Atlanta community affairs channel. During that time, he took on an internship at WXIA-TV that eventually turned into his first paying job in television at the assignment desk.
consequently, he moved to Chattanooga, WDEF-TV TN where he worked as a weekend anchor, producer, Prompter Operator, Editor, and Reporter, often all on the same day. From there he joined News 3. During his free time, he likes to hang out at the beach, live weights and go fishing. He resides in Virginia Beach with his wife and children.
