Kim Adams is an American Emmy-award-winning Meteorologist working for WDIV in Detroit as a meteorologist. She joined the station in August 2022.

Kim Adams Career
Adams works for WDIV as a meteorologist. For over 25 years, she has been forecasting the weather in Southeast Michigan. She will be delivering the forecast for the 4, 5, 6, 10 & 11 p.m. newscasts 4WarnWeather where she came back in August 2022.
Her tv career began at WJR Radio where she worked as an intern. At WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio was where she began her first on-air job. The NBC affiliate money wasn’t great so in order to make ends meet she had to drive home during the weekends to Detroit to clean houses.
She was offered a business opportunity at WXYZ-TV after a brief stint at WBNS in Columbus Ohio. In July 1997, she became the first female meteorologist in Detroit television history. In the movie Scream 4 with Courtney Cox she played the role of a reporter and actually delivers the final line of the movie.
