Prior to working at AccuWeather, he worked at WRDW News 12 NBC 26 in Augusta, Georgia where he served as the chief meteorologist from August 2015 to August 2019. From August 2012 to August 2015, he worked at WLNE-TV where he also served as the Chief meteorologist based in Providence, Rhode Island. During his tenure at WLNE-TV, he also served as a meteorologist on 5, 6, and 11 PM and enclosed Hurricane Sandy(2012).
He had previously spent about 13 years working at KLKN-TV where he served as the chief meteorologist based in Lincoln, Nebraska. While still working at KLKN-TV, he hosted weekly “Kevin’s Backyard Bar-B-Q” and anchored several severe weather coverage events. He began his TV career in August 1997 working at WKBT News 8 in Wisconsin where he served as a meteorologist. In 1990, he joined The University of Notre Dame where he attained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
He, later on, joined The University of Wisconsin-Madison where he attained his Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science and Meteorology in 1997. He also owns the AMS Television Seal of Approval. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
