Kathy Orr is an American Emmy-Award Winning Meteorologist currently working for Fox 29 News since September 2015 as a weather anchor for the evening newscasts. Before joining the Fox 29 team, he was working for CBS 3’s Eyewitness News at 5, 6, and 11 p.m., where he was providing forecasts on weekdays. In addition, she provided weather forecasts for the sister radio stations, 94 WIP, and KYW News radio.

It also includes broadcasting live from the 2005 Super Bowl and 2008 World Series and serving as the official meteorologist of the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition, she provided weather updates and commentary for XM Radio, CBS Radio, Sports Illustrated.com, and ESPN Radio.
Orr is also a former board member of the American Meteorological Society’s Board of Broadcast Meteorology. There, she selected some candidates to receive the coveted AMS Seal. Additionally, Kathy is a mentor for the American Meteorological Society’s DataStream Project. In addition, for nearly ten years, she has educated teachers in the field of Meteorology so it can be added to the curriculum in local schools.
In the year 2003, Orr was recognized for her “Orr at the Shore” series of summer reports by the New Jersey Governor’s Office. This series highlighted environmental awareness along the Jersey Shore. The Jersey Show issue is something she considers dear to her heart. This is as her family has vacationed “down the shore” for more than 30 years.
