Knapp is a reporter and multi-media journalist for WFTX-TV Fox 4 News. She began her career as a news producer in Las Vegas in 2017. While there she covered national stories such as the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting. She was then honored to be nominated for an Emmy for her coverage of the devastation.
After a year later Kaitlin left Las Vegas and took her reporting career in Washington state in the Tri-Cities. She covered a variety of stories for two years including local high-profile court cases, wildfires, and people in the community changing lives. She then went to Spokane, Washington to continue her career.
While in Spokane, Knapp reported on several community and state issues including police reform, a wide variety of national breaking news that stemmed from the Inland Northwest, and COVID’S impact on women in the workforce. On top of reporting, she has filled in on the weather and anchor desks. Her passion for broadcasting began at the age of 8 years. During her free time, you can catch her wrangling her boxers, Rocky and Abby, and paddleboarding somewhere near the water.
