Povick serves as a broadcast meteorologist at AccuWeather in Pennsylvania. Prior to working at AccuWeather, he worked at KHBS KHOG-TV where he served as the morning meteorologist based in Arkansas from July 2006 to June 2007. During his tenure there, he was also in charge of delivering weather forecasts on weekdays and was also the main backup to the Chief Meteorologist.
In December 2004, he joined KSWO-TV in Lawton, Oklahoma where he served as the weekend and weekday morning meteorologist till his departure in May 2006. He went to The University of North Carolina Asheville in 2000 where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology in 2004. From April 2009 to April 2010, he volunteered at Centre County PAWS where he attained his Dog Caretaker.
