Gish serves as the evening news anchor and reporter at 6, 10, and 11 p.m. on WGAL-TV based in Pennsylvania. On joining WGAL-TV for the first time in 2002, he started off by serving as the weekend morning anchor and reporter. He later left the station in 2004 and joined KMBC-TV where he served as a news anchor and reporter from June 2004 to January 2009. In 2009, he rejoined WGAL-TV and worked alongside Lori Burkholder. In addition to that, he had previously spent some time working at WTAJ in Altoona, PA, WJAC in Johnstown, and WENY in Elmira, New York.
Over the years, he has enclosed several stories including Supreme Court hearings and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans just to mention a few. He has also received several awards and honors including an Edward R. Murrow award and numerous Emmy awards for anchoring and reporting. He went to Penn State University where he attained his degree in Broadcast Journalism. Whenever he is not busy working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
