Upon completion of his high school education, Lennox went on to join the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in August 2000. After completing his undergraduate studies in May 2004, he became its alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Political Science. During his time in college, he served the Chi Phi Fraternity, Communication Studies Society, Intramural Sports, and Interfraternity Council. Prior to South Florida, he served the NBC affiliate in Orlando, WESH 2 News as an anchor and a reporter. Moreover, he served ABC stations in both Knoxville, Tennessee, and Wilmington, North Carolina as a news reporter.
However, his passion for journalism can be trailed back to his teens. When he resided in Japan, he served as an anchor of his middle school’s morning broadcast and was engrossed with journalism since then. When he was still an undergraduate, he landed his initial on-screen job at the local ABC station. At night, he broadcasted hurricanes, did local crime segments, and served as a full-time reporter while attending college during the day.
In 2004, he attained the North Carolina AP award for “Rookie Reporter of the Year.” Also, he has provided coverage for several major stories and eminent suits. For two weeks, he went to New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Moreover, he was one of the key reporters to broadcast Live from Blacksburg succeeding the Virginia Tech massacre in 2006.
To boot, he provided coverage for the suit against Casey Anthony from beginning to end. else, he assisted break the story encompassing Tiger Woods SUV accident in 2009 and reported Live from outside Tiger’s home. Further, his reports have been telecasted on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and NBC’s TODAY program. When he is not working, he loves the beach, working out, traveling, and spending time with his family.
