Jayonna Scurry is an American Anchor/Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist working for WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tennessee as a reporter. She joined the station in May 2022. She previously worked at MT10 News, MTSU’s student-run news program as a news reporter and anchor.

Scurry is a reporter for WJHL-TV. She joined the station as a digital video journalist in May 2022. And in April 2023 she became a multimedia journalist. While in the university, she worked for Middle Tennessee State University’s student-run news program, MT10 News where she served as a news reporter and anchor for six semesters. She has also been an assignment news manager for Middle Tennessee News at MTSU, and a journalism tutor.
Jayonna also produced, created, and hosted her own night show: Mt @ Night. She is now blessed to be in WJHL-TV, a channel she grew up watching. During her free time, she enjoys playing bass guitar for her church and listening to music, especially Kid Cudi, her favorite music artist.
