He began his career as a reporter after his graduation where he worked with WTVG in Toledo, Ohio. While there, he covered some stories that include interviewing a young high school kid named LeBron James, who was good at basketball, and covering several major stories including the November 2002 outbreak of tornadoes, “The Big Blackout,”

Away from his journalism career, he enjoys listening to music. In addition, he has been a drummer from when he was four years old. In relation to this, he has shared the stage with great musicians where he has covered a variety of genres such as jazz, country, funk, R&B, Latin, rock, and soul. Additionally, he loves baseball and even plays it. He is also a sports fanatic and when he was a child, he played travel baseball with former Phillies great Chase Utley. In addition, he is an avid golfer.
