She was a member of the nation’s largest student-run forecasting organization, Campus Weather Service while at Penn State.
In Baltimore and Washington, D.C. she has worked with meteorologists, whom she now considers mentors. She interned with an environmental federation called EarthShare before coming to Baton Rouge. There, she learned about the importance of protecting the earth.
When she’s not working, she enjoys playing with her three-pound teacup Yorkie, Caramel, traveling, dancing, and trying new restaurants. Lomax is also a die-hard fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Penn State Nittany Lions.
