While at KKCO 11 News, Grace won two Colorado Broadcasters Association awards, one for breaking news and the other for publicizing a family’s fight to save a one-year-old girl with a rare medical condition. Due to that report, and several that followed, the little girl’s insurance company overturned their denial of the drug she needed, and Maisie is still alive. While in college, she worked at the Denver Police Department and at Entrepreneur magazine in New York City.
