Jefferson works as a Sports MMJ at FOX 5. Before joining the station, he worked as a news reporter at KETK/FOX51 in Tyler, Texas. His love for storytelling began at a young age. He traveled several hours to attend Saint Ignatius College Preparatory High School. His hobbies are watching movies, sports, spending time with family and friends, and trying something new.
He took a leap of faith and went across the country to Clark Atlanta University in Georgia after high school. Jefferson was a part of the mass media arts team, CAUTV, where he reported softball, basketball, and football games as a sports reporter, leading him to produce and host a 30-minute show.
In 2019, he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in mass media arts with a concentration in television, film, and in radio. He worked for KETK/FOX51 for two years reporting everything from Black Lives Matter protests to cold cases featured on Dateline to going down to Galveston to report a hurricane.
