Forrester anchors the Monday to Friday newscasts at 4 pm, 5 pm, and 10 pm. He grew up in Central Pennsylvania, joined college after high school, and in the end, came back to start a family. After working at several TV stations around the country, he came back to Central Pennsylvania when FOX43 News debuted in 1994.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Shippensburg University which he earned in 1985. His career included work at TV stations in Allentown Pennsylvania, St. Louis Missouri, West Virginia, and West Palm Beach Florida.

Over the course of four decades, he has been fortunate to earn a number of journalism awards, including several Emmy awards and nominations. He was named the Outstanding Alumnus Award for professional achievement by the Shippensburg University’s Communications/Journalism Department.

When his not working, he is likely to be riding the roads and highways on my Harley-Davidson. He tries to give back to the community as much as possible through participation in many charitable events.

Forrester serves on a number of executive boards including The Executive Board of America’s 9/11 Foundation; The advisory board of both Shippensburg University’s College of Arts and Sciences and the Communications/Journalism Department and The Executive Board of the New Birth of Freedom Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
