Huston serves as a meteorologist at WGAL-TV based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Prior to working at WGAL-TV, he worked as the weekday morning meteorologist at WAPT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi for five years. During his tenure working at WAPT-TV, he managed to enclose a ton of extreme weather events including deadly tornadoes, snowstorms, hurricanes, and ice storms. He previously worked at WTOK-TV in Meridian, Mississippi where he served as the station’s weather forecaster. Prior to that, he had spent some time working at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati and WYTV-TV in Youngstown, Ohio where he also served as a meteorologist.
Huston has also won several awards and honors including the 2013 Best Weathercaster in the state of Mississippi. He also received an Edward R. Murrow award for enclosing the 2010 deadly Yazoo City tornado. In addition to that, he also owns the National Weather Association Weathercaster Seal of Approval. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
