Prior to working for KSN, he served at 9 News, Denver as a morning and noon anchor and reporter for five years. Further, he served FOX23, Tulsa as a reporter. While there, he reported on the viral story of the 80-year-old grandmother pepper-sprayed by Muskogee police after they invaded her home searching for a suspect. On a side note, he gained his first Emmy award for broadcasting tornados and their after-effects in northeast Oklahoma.
Even so, his career began when he worked for KFDX, Wichita Falls which is KSN’s sister station as a reporter.
