When he first joined the station, he worked as a weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter from WNYW Fox 5 in New York, where he worked as a sports anchor as well as host of the Sunday night program “Sports Extra.”
He has reported many Super Bowls, and World Series, and hosted multiple television and radio sports programs and special events. Before WNYW, he worked as a sports reporter with Boston’s WHDH.
On ESPN Major League Baseball and College Football games he worked as a sideline reporter. Castiglione was the morning sports anchor and reporter for New York’s WCBS-TV before working for ESPN Major League Baseball and College Football games.
On NY1’s live call-in program “Sports on 1” he served as a host. The New England region was where he started his news career first at Cape 11 News in Hyannis, MA, and lastly at WGGB News in Springfield, MA. He is a graduate of Marshfield High School and Stonehill College.
