She first joined the KOLO 8 News Now team in 2010 and rejoined the station in September 2016, making her one of the longest-serving journalists at the station.
Before KOLO-TV, Wong served as a reporter at CBS Sacramento (KOVR) from 2015 to 2016, covering breaking news and community stories in California’s capital. Prior to that, she had worked at several stations, including KTNV-TV in Las Vegas (2013 to 2015), WCTV-TV in Tallahassee (2009 to 2010), Washington Bureau Reporter at WENY-TV, and KATU-TV in Portland (2003 to 2007), where she oversaw production of newscasts in Oregon. She also had her first on-air roles at KRON4-TV in San Francisco and KMTR-TV in Eugene, where she managed newsroom operations and production. In 2021, Wong was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
