Allison is a multimedia journalist and reporter for WRDW/WAGT. He started his broadcast career in journalism working with James Madison University’s award-winning “Breeze TV” as a reporter, anchor and managing editor. He also worked as a news reporter with the Harrisonburg Radio Group for WSVA News.
In early 2019 While at JMU (go Dukes!) Craig found “Breeze TV” during the end of his sophomore year. He began as a videographer and reporter, where he mainly covered arts stories in the local Harrisonburg community. Afterward he covered a gas explosion in Harrisonburg in the fall of 2020 and the following year he travelled to Washington, D.C., where he covered Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration.
While at JMU, during his final year, Allison was promoted to co-anchor and managing editor of his campus station. He juggled that role along with a job at WSVA News (92.1 FM/550 AM) as a radio reporter. While there he interviewed former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, and anchored the 2021 Virginia gubernatorial election show for “Breeze TV.”
