Chris Higgins is an American Meteorologist working for FOX2 in St Louis, Missouri as the morning meteorologist. He joined the station in February 1994.

In 1984, he joined DeSmet Jesuit High School where he attained his high school diploma in 1988. He then went to Saint Louis University where he attained his Bachelor of Science in meteorology in 1992.

Higgins serves as the morning meteorologist and weathercaster at FOX2 based in St.Louis, Missouri. On top of his work at FOX2, he is also working at The U.S Air Force Reserve where he serves as a director of inspections. On joining U.S. Air Force Reserve, he started off by serving as a Global Weather Watch Officer based in Nebraska. From November 2004 to August 2019, he worked at 12 OWF-United States Air Force Reserve where he served as a director of operations based in Scott AFB, Illinois, USA.
Higgins had previously spent 1 year and 8 months working at Missouri Air National Guard where he served as a staff weather officer and also managed the daily weather operations. From May 1992 to February 1994, he worked at KODE News where he served as a chief meteorologist. He is also an active member of the United Latino Students Association.
Higgins January 1996 to November 2000, he volunteered at Kirkwood Athletic Association. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He has also won a ton of awards including 8 Emmy Awards and received his first Emmy Award in October 2002.
