What follows is the true, abridged story of Chase Menendez, as it was never told before. Until now. He first entered the “real world” after earning a BA in English Literature.
Chase’s goal was to tell stories and write novels. He felt there was another passion yet to be tapped while writing on the side still continues today. His then-9-year-old sister suggested as a joke he becomes a weatherman, and to continue the joke, he looked into it. He had unexpectedly found that untapped interest. The joke led him to realize his love for all things weather and headed to Mississippi State University to pursue Broadcast Meteorology.
During his time at Mississippi State University, Menendez interned in Biloxi, MS at WLOX and he volunteered in Jackson, MS, at WJTV before eventually getting a position on the team at KMID and KPEJ in West Texas. During his free time, he loves taking it easy with a good book, playing the bass guitar, listening to Deftones, and cooking cajun food.
