In May 2002, she started serving on the “7 Action News This Morning” team as a co-anchor of 7 Action News at 11 p.m. After taking the co-anchoring duties, she stopped her day-to-day duties as Channel 7’s Health Reporter. For 13 years, she informed the people of Detroit about the latest developments in medical science and the impacts they have on the community.
Also, she served as a host of the multiple Emmy-nominated 30-minute health show called “Healthy Living Sunday.” Before WXYZ, she served in Pittsburgh at WPGH as an anchor of the 10 p.m. newscast. In addition to that, she served as an anchor for the 10 p.m. news at WLFL-TV in Raleigh. To boot, she served at the CBS affiliates in both Orlando and Lansing.
