Coffee was involved in a terrible accident in Hawaii while hiking with his three friends. He was at the verge of losing his life after he fell from an 80 feet cliff. Caleb stated in a TikTok video after he came around that he was feeling grateful to be alive after falling from a cliff onto lava rocks. He was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday after he slept and fell from the cliff. This information is according to a GoFundMe page that was set up by his sister, Peyton Coffee.
During an update to his TikTok followers from his hospital bed on Thursday, he stated that he almost died as a result of the accident which he stated that it left him with a broken leg and wrist, and added that he would require stitches in his forehead and lip.
He states that he wants everybody to know that anyone who is supporting him, is very appreciative of him and that he is doing his best in order to get better. Aside from this, he states that above all he gives the biggest thanks to God because it was not the first time he has almost died in his life.
When Caleb was younger, he had severe seizures and grand mal seizures and that he almost died and he almost died during that time. Caleb states that he couldn’t fathom falling from 60 -80 feet and that he can’t remember what happened. Caleb woke up and thought that he had died so he thanked God for giving him another chance to live.
In Caleb’s Instagram Post, his father stated that his son was in the ICU and that Caleb had suffered from a broken femur(surgery placed a rod through it), 2 plates and 10 screws in his right elbow, stitches in his forehead and lip, and a fractured left wrist.
Aside from this, in a GoFundMe page, Caleb stated that he had burned all his body and that he hadn’t been able to hold down any food. Initially, he thought the social media star had broken his neck and spine in the fall but he later stated that miraculously none of them had broken.
On the second day after falling off a cliff, an 80-foot cliff he stated in an Instagram Post that for the past two days, all the doctors thought his spine was broken and he was just coming out of another MRI and it turned out somehow miraculously none of it was broken and it was just an irritation.
Additionally, he states that he personally cannot make up an explanation for that other than thanking Jesus. His father also shared an Instagram Post and a clip of his son in the hospital on Instagram and asked his followers to pray for him. Additionally, according to the GoFundMe page, Caleb’s father stated that he did not have medical insurance and that his family could not afford to pay his media bills from the incident. The page has so far received over $16,000.
