Griffin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Griffin works as a Sports Director at WFRV in Green Bay. Before joining the team, he worked for the station as a Sports Producer and Photographer until 2005. He began his career at WLUK in April 1995 and served as a News Editor and Producer. He was UWO’s 1995 Sportscaster of the Year and a four-time letterman for the Titans.

Since 1999, he has hosted Sunday Sports Xtra, and in addition to anchoring the regular newscasts, Griffin has hosted “Inside Lambeau,” “LockerRoom,” “The 5th Quarter”, and Gold Gameday Live” reporting the Green Bay Packers. He reported the Super Bowl 32 loss in San Diego, Green Bay’s win over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl 45, and the Packers’s Super Bowl 31 victory in New Orleans. Griffin launched and hosted High School Sports Xtra, the first show of its kind in northeast Wisconsin, and has won many anchoring and reporting awards. Griffin reported four Final Fours, several playoff runs with the Bucks, and Brewers, and five golf majors since arriving in Titletown.
