Brittany Boyer is an American Meteorologist working for the 6abc News Weather team since joining the station in April of 2021. Prior to her role with the Action News, she was an on-air meteorologist for 6abc’s partner, AccuWeather located in State College, Pennsylvania.

While at AccuWeather, she was seen nationally providing forecasts on all types of weather. Previously, she has also been working for the WNEP-YV located in Scranton, PA where she was working as a multimedia journalist and weekend meteorologist. She has also worked as a multimedia journalist for the WJAC-TV which is where she kick-started her career.
Throughout, her dream has always been to work with the Action News team. Through the years, she has been able to extensively do weather broadcasting stories such as covering tornado warnings, blizzards, and flooding, among others. Many people have relied on Brittany’s forecasting throughout her career.
Due to her fascination for all types of weather, she has always had an interest in the winter weather. As she grew up near Philadelphia, she used to go outside following storms and to see how the storms had fallen. Among her sharpest memories was the blizzard of the year 1996 which crippled the Philadelphia area for a couple of days.
In addition, she was very fascinated by the power of the blizzard and how it had the ability to significantly impact the Delaware Valley. Growing older, she continued her fascination with the weather, which is despite focusing on Science later on. Working as a Meteorologist, she was training in the science behind weather forecasting and effectively explains this to people.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid skier. Additionally, she is also a fitness enthusiast which is in addition to fishing, cooking, traveling, and running.
