She worked at NBC’s TODAY before joining WPTZ-TV and is a graduate of NBCUniversal’s prestigious Page Program. Borghi was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Dover. Eager to explore a new city, she joined George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Special Honors in Journalism while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the School of Media and Public Affairs with a minor in Political Science.

Borghi’s numerous internships took her to newsrooms from coast to coast with many networks. During the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, she had the opportunity to interview senators on Capitol Hill.
