Having joined the team in September 2022, Buckley has a deep connection to Cleveland due to her family roots in the area, despite her upbringing as an Air Force child, which led her to move frequently across the country. Prior to her current role, she served as a general assignment reporter at ABC 6/FOX 28 in Columbus, covering a wide range of stories including violence issues, community efforts against teen violence, and advocacy stories aimed at holding leaders accountable.
Before Columbus, she worked as a reporter in Toledo at NBC 24, where she covered significant events like presidential campaign rallies and a major General Motors strike. Additionally, she launched her broadcasting career as an evening anchor at WHIZ in Zanesville.
