Brad leads the WSB-TV weather team in the innovation and adoption of cutting-edge technologies and techniques with a constant focus on maximizing clear communication and competitive advantage. His commitment and hard work have led to WSB-TV becoming the first station in the country to use 3D volumetric radar display on-air.
He has received numerous awards for his work as a meteorologist, including an Emmy award for his coverage of Hurricane Iram in 2017. In addition, he has several Emmy nominations for coverage of Metro Atlanta’s tornadoes and flooding. He also won “Best Weather Reporting” from the Associated Press several times over the years of his profession.
Before joining WSB-TV in January 2006, he worked as a meteorologist for NBC News. He worked there as a meteorologist from July 2005 but left the station in December 2005. At the station, Brad led coverage of some of the biggest hurricanes including Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Additionally, Brad worked for WJXT in Jacksonville, Florida as a senior Meteorologist and for WESH CW18 in Orlando, Florida as a meteorologist.
