Polaroid happens to be among the contestants for the show Drag Race Brasil which premieres on 30th August 2023. Asides from being a TV personality, he is also a photographer. Polaroid met his first gay friends during his time in college. In the month of March 2015, he dressed as a drag queen for the first time. Later on, in the month of May the same year, his father was diagnosed with Leukemia which made it hard for him to do drag.
However, as time passed, he slowly got back to drag and went to photo drag the drag scene in Rio De Janeiro. In time photographing, he met Laganja Estranja who advised him not to forget who he is and to remain true to himself if he starts doing drag. He later decided to be a drag queen photographer as a result of this.

Previously, he adopted the name Betina Photoshop in Drag. Afterward, he asked people to give him photographic items so that he could create his look using them. One of Betina’s friends named Ana Lucia brought him back a pink and green barbie polaroid camera. After this experience, Betina Polaroid was born and he began adopting that name in his drag.
This series involves twelve contestants who are competing for the title of Brazil’s First Drag Superstar and a cash prize. The competition series’ logo was revealed on the 6th of June 2023.
