Before relocating to Hampton Roads, Knight served as a weekday morning and midday news anchor/reporter at WPMI NBC 15 in the coastal Alabama city. Here, she anchored the noon half-hour newscast and also hosted “Law Call,” a weekly live segment in which she discussed legal tips with a local attorney. Additionally, Knight had a 2-year career stint at WBRC FOX 6 in Birmingham, where she served as a reporter. During her time at the station, Knight covered a wide range of stories, including the coverage of Abby’s award-winning breaking news, the “Officer Stafford shooting,” and the transportation of COVID-19-positive cruise ship passengers to Anniston, AL.
