Following a pre-Broadway tour playing opposite her in “A Streetcar Named Desire,” she returned home to B.C.
Moreover, she performed alongside the initial experimental theatre, Tamahnous Theatre, while performing at the Vancouver Playhouse, the Arts Club Theatre, the Shaw Festival, and as an actor/director with the Arena Theatre in White Rock. Also, she served as an associate director under legendary Robin Phillips at Stratford. Furthermore, she progressed to serve with him as an actor at the Citadel Theatre.
Additionally, she has served as an actor and a director for more than 24 productions throughout her 10-year tenure as the Artistic Director of Western Gold Theatre. Moreover, she got honored with the 2013 Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for Outstanding Career Achievement and in 2014 “Woman of the Year” by UBCP/ACTRA.
In 2015 she was dubbed”International Women’s Day Honoree” by the UBCP (Union of British Columbia Performers) Women’s Committee for her history of giving back to the union, the industry, and causes of social justice. Also, she was invited to partake in the International Directors Seminar in London, England, and returned to appear in the World Stage production of “The Mill on the Floss.”
On a side note, she is known for her roles in Reindeer Games in 2000, Double Jeopardy in 1999, and The Possession in 2012. Furthermore, she has appeared in films such as Shadow of the Hawk, and The Changeling. Also, she appeared in Moment of Truth in 1965.
