Lindenberg a Birmingham native works as a morning anchor at CBS 42. She began her broadcasting career more than 30 years ago. She was brought up in Shelby County and graduated from Pelham High School and Auburn University. Lindenberg majored in Speech Communications with a minor in Journalism. At the Fox affiliate she worked as a reporter, then evening anchor for 11 years.
She went back on the air as a morning anchor at the NBC affiliate before moving to the evening news after taking a few years off to stay at home with her two children. Apart from being a well-known voice in Birmingham news talk radio she has also been a staple in Birmingham television news. Lindenberg spent six years on radio as a morning talk show host on Talk 99.5.
