When young, he spent most of his time with his grandmother who was obsessed with the weather. It is at this period that he got loved the weather and grow an interest in it. Later on, after a couple of years, he also grew a passion for media and when an opportunity came his way, he combined his two interests at the ITV West Country. Since the year 2005, he has been working as a part of the weather team where his responsibilities also stretch across the ITV Network weather and Good Morning Britain. In addition, he has also presented a number of weather documentaries on Channel 4. Over the years, Beresford has also grown a passion for current affairs where he can be seen presenting ITV’s ‘Tonight’ program.
