Adam is a proud graduate of Lyndon State College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in the year 2000. Joseph got his on-air experience in the year 1988 when he was working as a forecaster and anchor for the LSC-TV. When he looks back, he laughs at his green performance, where he however cherishes the experience Lyndon was able to give him which is all before achieving a degree.
Later on, just shortly after, he moved to the WSAZ-TV located in Charleston-Huntington, West Virginia. There, he was able to receive a prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television in addition to winning several awards for meteorology excellence. After four, he then moved to the WPVI where he joined the station working as a weekend meteorologist in 2005.
Additionally, he contributes to countless station specials. Among these includes The Flower Show preview special, the Auto Show preview special, and the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade just to name but a few. Joseph loves a balance between dipping into the entertainment world and fulfilling a lifetime passion for the weather. He fills in on ABC7’s Good Morning America when he is needed. Additionally, he was voted Philadephia’s Best meteorologist by the Philadelphia Magazine. In addition, he counts himself honored to have received the 40 under 40 awards from the Philadelphia Business Journal for professional excellence and community involvement in the year 2011.
He is highly committed to making a difference in the community and hence he is involved with Hospice and The American Cancer Society. Additionally, he enjoys biking, swimming, spending time with family, running, weight lifting, and basically making a day count. Additionally, he participated in his first triathlon in Richwood, West Virginia in the year 2001 and since then he has completed a total of about 13 triathlons. The year 2013 saw him complete 7 triathlons with the final one being a 70.3 ironman in Bear Delaware. This had been his goal for more than 12 years.
