This is in addition to loving to connect with the community and sharing the sporting moments that bring the people together.
Edelstein states that he was honored to receive recognition for his work across broadcast and digital media. He further stated that he was most proud of the relationships he has built with others in the community and the newsroom. Originally from New Jersey, where David scored the winning run in his town’s fourth-grade little league World Series. Asides from this, he was voted MVP of the Utica Frisbee Club for Week 2 in the 2021 season. This was back on the 23rd of May 2021. Asides from this, he is an FAA Part 107 Licensed Unmanned Aircraft Pilot. This is in addition to being a community service volunteer, and Isshin-ryu karate black belt.
Away from work, he is a proud member of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. This is a program for selected high school juniors that is organized through Rotary International and takes place all over the world. There, he participated in the RYLA(District 740-) in May 2014. He made a return to help plan, lead, and organize the annual RYLA 7490 program since March 2016. Asides from this, he also plays badminton and loved this game during his high school gym classes.
