As a reporter, she covered Baltimore/DC, the epicenter of big national stories at a unique and pivotal time in US history: 9/11 at the pentagon, the anthrax scare, and the manhunt for the DC snipers. Christa gained street credentials, cultivating police sources and landing exclusives in a city struggling with drug and gun violence.
