Cheryl Scott is an American Meteorologist working as a Meteorologist for ABC 7 News where she has been working since she joined the station in December 2014. Prior to ABC 7, she was working for NBC 5in Chicago, where she was working as a morning and weekend meteorologist since September 2011.

Additionally, she was also on-air when several tornadoes devasted the Knoxville area in April of 2021.
Not only did Scott serve as an important source for updating viewers on storm developments while providing critical safety information but also volunteered her time in order to work with the Red Cross following the area’s disaster.
Prior to this, she was working as a weekend weathercaster for WSEE-TV located in Erie, Pennsylvania the year 2007 which was while also providing forecasts for a 24-hour Caribbean Weather Channel. She began her journalism career while working as an intern for WCAU-NBC 10 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the year 2006. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing with her Beagle Lola, traveling, and watching movies. For her, sports have always played a big part in her life. Despite the fact that she no longer runs track, she would still enjoy watching a lot of MLB/NFL/NHL.
