In this position, Ambrose covered numerous severe weather events, including Hurricane Helene and multiple wildfires.
Before WDBJ 7, Ambrose served as a Chief Forecaster at WTGS FOX 28 in Savannah, GA, from July 2020 to July 2022. Here, he covered Hurricane Isaias and a high-end EF-4 tornado (one of the strongest tornadoes in the U.S. that year) that ripped through a community about 30 minutes west of Savannah. Notably, Ambrose began his career at WALB News10 in Albany, GA, where he served as a weather forecaster and multimedia journalist.
