Bianchi works for KUSA 9News serving the station as an Anchor and Meteorologist. He regularly contributes weather reports on 9News and one may find him doing weather broadcasts in Spanish for 9News digital side.
Before joining 9NEWS in May 2021, Chris worked for Spectrum Networks as a meteorologist for their app from 2020 through May 2021. Before that, Chris worked as a meteorologist for WeatherNation for six years, and he also wrote weather articles for The Denver Post, The Washington Post, the Boston Herald, and the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Prior to joining 9News, he worked for Spectrum Networks in Los Angeles, California as a Meteorologist and Senior Weather Producer for their app between July 2020 to May 2021. He has also previously worked for The Washington Post in the Greater Denver Area as a Contributing Writer. There, he served the station between the Greater Denver Area.
This is in addition to working for The Denver Post in Denver, Colorado as a Meteorologist. There, he worked between January 2019 and July 2020. He has also previously worked for the Weather Nation in Denver, Colorado where he served the team as an On-air Meteorologist. He worked for the station between February 2014 and July 2020.
Aside from his duties as a Meteorologist, he has also served as the voice of the University of Denver’s men’s and women’s soccer teams for several years. In addition to this, he wrote about politics for Westword. Bianchi holds a Boadcaster’s Seal of Approval which he received from the National Weather Association in July 2017. Aside from this, he is a broadcast ambassador for the American Meteorological Society’s Committee for Hispanic and Latinx Advancement.
