Luke Sampe is an American award-winning broadcast meteorologist working for WFRV in Green Bay as a Chief Meteorologist since August 2013. He worked for Hearst Television WISN TV as a meteorologist before joining the station.

Sampe works as a Chief Meteorologist at WFRV Local 5 in Green Bay. Before joining WFRV-TV, he earned broadcast experience working in the smallest to the largest newsrooms in Wisconsin. Before joining the station, he served Hearst Television WISN TV as a meteorologist for three years. Before that, he worked as a chief meteorologist at WJFW from 2006 to 2010.
He has 19 years of Wisconsin weather forecasting experience. The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awarded him ‘Best Weathercast’ and from the American Meteorological Society, he holds the Seal of Approval. An outbreak of six tornadoes ripped through the Fox Valley In August of 2013, on his second night on the air at WFRV-TV turned violent.
He began his career at WTMJ-TV as Weather Producer/Intern. In recent Wisconsin history, he has reported some of the biggest weather events including waterspouts forming live on the waters of Lake Michigan, record-setting blizzards, and tornadoes. In Rhinelander, Wisconsin, he worked as chief meteorologist. He is more than happy to be working for a station he grew up watching.
