Rogers is a reporter for KIMA-TV News. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed at what is now Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and Fairchild AFB, WA. He also served on deployments to Qatar and Diego Garcia. He came home to Yakima after his military service and enrolled at Yakima Valley College where he later transferred to Central Washington University.
While at Central Washington University as a student Ryan covered news and sports in the Kittitas Valley. While attending Central, he joined KIMA and has helped sports director Alan Sillence with Friday Night Fever and other local sporting events over the last few years. He also fills in for sports and co-anchors with Alan on Friday Night Fever. During his free time, he enjoys, watching true crime shows, movies, binge watching Unsolved Mysteries, and listening to music on his headphones. He also plays amateur baseball in the summertime.
