Additionally, at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri, Megan began her career as the morning anchor, producer, and fill-in meteorologist throughout the workweek.
When she’s not working at NBC12, Megan enjoys playing golf, rooting for the Pirates, Steelers, and Pens, and spending time with her Labrador puppy, Boss. Despite the demanding course load, Wise thought the teachers in the earth sciences and meteorology departments were approachable and helpful, and they made learning about the weather interesting. She worked in Burrowes Hall as a resident assistant for several years on campus. She cherished the opportunity to interact with so many students and made friendships that would last a lifetime. Moving over 800 miles away from her home to begin her work as the morning meteorologist at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri, is one of Wise’s biggest life achievements.
She relocated to WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee, after getting promoted. She now works as the weekend evening meteorologist as well as the sole weekend evening anchor and producer. In addition, Wise was a host of a show called “Megan Wise Goes Outside,”. Where she participated in activities like hang gliding and caving. She moved to Richmond, Virginia, in 2015 to work for WWBT-TV. And in 2020 she was allowed to become the weekday evening meteorologist.
